‘I have been practising my own Pilates for 15 years.  Born with a lower back condition, I found myself constantly wearing a back brace and living on pain killers by the age of 24 . I was advised by my Osteopath to attend Pilates and since then, after being in pain and discomfort for the whole of my life, I now live a pain free lifestyle of which I never thought would be possible. This is all thanks to Pilates.’

Hayley qualified with Body Control Pilates in 2007, taking her practice to Melbourne, Australia where she began to introduce Pilates in to local gyms and worked with individuals on specific alignment and joint issues as well as previous injury rehabilitation.

Returning to the U.K in 2008, she began to build a business for herself, running local courses and private sessions. Word of mouth soon aided to the increase of interest, with regular classes being added to the schedule giving individuals the opportunity to make Pilates a part of their every day life.

'I began using Body Control Pilates 15 years ago whilst at drama school.  I found it an excellent tool for actors because it works in harmony with the way we need to use the voice.  I continued my body work by training as a teacher of The Alexander Technique and subsequently certified as a Pilates instructor with Body Control Pilates.  I find these two techniques work well together to ensure any movement is done with ease, no excess tension, good alignment and with the aim to be really present whilst moving the body.'

Lynn qualified as a teacher of The Alexander Technique in 2012 and certified with Body Control Pilates in 2013.  She currently has private clients as well as working at Elite Pilates Plus.  She is a member of STAT - The Society of Teachers of The Alexander Technique, Level 3 qualified with REPS (The Register of Exercise Professionals) and she is a member of the Body Control Pilates Association.

Eleshia originally qualified as a beauty and massage therapist and decided to expand her repertoire by qualifying with Body Control Pilates in 2014. As well as her current Pilates achievements, Eleshia is working towards her Level 4 qualification and is also approaching her final examination to teach the popular Barre workout. Eleshia loves teaching her clients functional movement and seeing them progress from week to week. Her main focus is to provide services and tools to help enhance lifestyles.

Eleshia teaches the Tuesday 6:45pm Beginners and Tuesday 7:45pm Beg/Int classes at Elite Pilates Plus Studio.
